Soul Live Project

03 Nov 17 - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of Canada – the land of red maples, Soul Live Project (SLP) is honored to partner with the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City, to host a piano concert, “From Far and Wide”, by Canadian pianist, Stephanie Chua – along with other featured Vietnamese artists.

Inspired by words from the Canadian national anthem, the concert will feature contemporary music from across the vast land that is Canada, “From Far and Wide”,  by Canadian artists like Adam Sherkin, Brian Harman and Ann Southam. The concert will also feature a brand new version of the well-known traditional folk song from Northern Vietnam, “Butterfly and Flower”..

“From Far and Wide” will mark another step in the journey of the SLP to bring culture and arts from the world to Vietnam, making cross-cultural introductions to our traditional music, and from that foundation, introducing the beauty of our local arts to the world.
